Screen doors/mesh covers for balcony

Hey all,

Have finally moved into my new place, kittens are doing absolutely great and love running around. Luckily the windows are safe and go onto "clips" so are open just enough for air but not enough for kittens to escape through (phew) however the french doors (double) are another matter..... I am on the 2nd floor and have a tiny juliette balcony (can't stand on it) so want to cat proof it and be able to have the doors open without worrying about the kittens falling/jumping out! Obviously the doors will never ever be open without me being in the room!

Anyone know where I can get screen doors? or how to go about cat proofing them in a quick, relatively attractive and most importantly safe way.

Thanks in advance

Hi there!

Heres what you need

Fine Garden mesh / Netting by the metre 2m or 3m width | eBay

Had the same problem myself. I ended up just draping it over the balcony and attaching it to the inside

OOh fantastic thanks so much, I didn't really know where to start to be honest. That's given me some ideas I don't want to waste the doors but I refuse to have them open without some sort of cover to protect the little monsters.
