Grrrrrr what is it with these tins The ring pull snaps off soooo easily so I have to find the friggin' tin opener which kind of misses the point really.

Sorry for the rant but that is one of my pet peeves (ring pulls coming off). Having said that the cats LOVE the food and it seems so much more filling than the Felix pouches they have been fed on so far.

Hmm ..... that's one problem I haven't had. The most annoying thing I've had is lids that won't come all the way off. We never use a whole tin at a time, so the lids need to come off so we can put a plastic lid on and put them in the fridge. I spend ages sometimes twisting it every which way to try and get it off, and when it does finally let go, I end up covered in cat food.

I had two tins of Aniomonda do this to me last Saturday. And the tin opener I have wouldn't open them.

So I had to invest in one of the old fashioned billy can style tin openers but that worked a treat.

I wonder if it was a dodgy batch..... ????

I asked my OH is he had a problem with the tins and he said no so I thought oh it must be just me then. The last tin I opened was really easy so I'm wondering if it was just a dodgy batch too.

The cats are really enjoying their food! x Such a change from Felix! Doesn't smell too bad either.

I have my doubts about current batches of Animonda. I've had swolen tins twice now from Zooplus, and in the last order one of my ring pulls was on back to front, so perhaps the same batch!

I recently got a huge order of animonda, 8 varietis, with absolutely no problems with ringpulls or swollen tins. Dents, sure, but thats not animondas fault.

I must say i recently got an order from Flloys which was packaged insanely, peanuts, cardboard between every tin, and STILL had dented tins. I think its just something which can happen when shipping heavy items like tins.
