Spencer is booked in for next week and i am sure you would seperate them if you needed to

Dont worry
Skye barely makes a noise...it's Spencer who meows when you go through the house and leave him in the kitchen

How can you tell if a female is in season?

Ive only ever had 1 cat that came into season once. Little Mo, when she found me I thought she was alot younger than she was, she was a tiny girl

You wouldnt mistake it I thought she was dying lol. constant crying/mooing sticking bum in the air really soppy quite annoying really

Straight to the vets for that one

Thankfully Skye isn't like that at all!!

Bit miffed as my vet didn't seem overly bothered about getting them done asap and would have had me waiting til the end of october if I hadn't phoned to book Spencer in earlier

Yes Skye gets her second vaccination in 2 weeks time and he said they would both be booked in then. Spencer had his second vaccination on friday past when Skye got her first.

He's definitely got his dangly bits, he likes to put them in my face

Yeah. I'm thinking of changing to the other vets though. My OH's mum works for them and they're much better. Dearer but at least I get things done! Been asking OH about changing over and he said they would write to my old vet for notes etc but I have Skye to take back in 2 weeks and would rather not be questioned by him about changing

I say dearer...but it would probably work out the same price if I have to pay for Spencer to be there overnight as I can drop him off after 8am at the better vets.

Dont you just hate dangly bits
Ring the other vets and see if you can book him in but can they wait for records till after Skye had her jabs? that way you can save the embarresment

failing that if they are going to charge you for over night you could always ask the new Vets to do the 2nd Jab (did you get the vaccination card for Skye yet?) it would prob work out cheaper than an over night stay. What i would question them with is anybody there 24 hours? If there was I couldnt see why you cant take him in at 8am. If there isnt then

That is what I'll do I'll ring tomorrow and ask them!!

I've already paid for Skye's course of vaccinations so not sure if I would be able to get it done at new vet? Got the vaccination card yeah. There isn't anyone there 24 hours I don't think as they said I can't take him in at 8.45am as they don't take admissions til 9.15am

The better vets has an animal hospital in the next town. And I can take Spencer in before I go to work too.
babygirls likes this.

Re: Crying cat

You will have to pay for the 2nd jab at new vets but i bet it will be cheaper than an over night stay!! so you will save there.

I always wonder what they do with the sick animals when there is noone at the Vets overnight doesnt make sense does it...
I picked the new vets because they have there own onsite hospital with Little Mo she was driven 11 miles from the vets to the hospital with someone she didnt know. I hate that thought even now

Hmm I paid over £70 for her vaccinations so will try and see if they will wait for notes until Skye has had her second vaccination.

I know I can't understand it either to be honest
