Just sitting at the table eating a bacon butty when my OH looks out the window & says "OMG!" My 5 month old kitten is about 2/3 of the way up a 40 foot tree we have in the garden, little black & white face peering out through the foliage! Tex climbed this tree (only once & didn't get so high) last year & was a trembling, mewing mess that took a lot of coaxing down, so I thought here we go...... but no, little Min is apparently an expert & fearless tree climber! She backed herself carefully down to around 6 feet from the ground, turned & jumped then stood at my feet looking up at me & chirruping in a rather pleased with herself kind of way! Heart attack over......

Sometimes they are just climbers. Lots of these moments to come I reckon!

Is your kitty done? Be careful as if she is out at this age, she could fall pregnant if she hits season!

Yes she is spayed, I had her done as early as poss as I hate keeping cats in & our area is very safe. She has always been more adventurous than Tex was at the same age, but this really took me by surprise, that tree is huge, much taller than the house!
