Do your cats love each other?

Has anyone got a mother and son/mother and daughter cat combo? How do they get along?

I have Tess and Pixel. Pixel loves his mom but Tess merely tolerates him At first Tess mothered Pixel a lot but then overnight it's like she thought, "Right, that's enough from me, leave me alone."

The pictures are from when she loved him

Re: Do your cats love each other?

Well Tabitha loves Moriarty but Moriarty tolerates Tabitha (he loves her really)

They both come to bed at night but sometimes they come down to the couch and curl up but only if I'm not looking

Moriarty Loves Daphne (neighbours cat) but see my recent thread for updates on their recent break up

I haven't actually got this combination but Scamps mother lived next door to us for a while and when she came in our house one day he chased her straight out the open window

Re: Do your cats love each other?

My two childhood cats Oscar and Toebe were brothers and did everything together and as Oscar was so rubbish at grooming and Toebe was so anal about it he would wash Oscar too it was so cute! We moved house though and all of a sudden Toebe went from loving Oscar to hissing, spitting and attacking him and time Oscar got too close . I rescently found out it was more than likely a territory thing.

My sisters cat absolutely loves my cat Fuzzle and since I have been at her flat cat sitting Fuzzle follows Jaffe everywhere. Although last night I found out that Fuzzle loves Jaffe a bit too much as last night I caught him...ahem....humping Jaffe

Re: Do your cats love each other?

my ragdolls although distantly related always cuddled up together, not so much since i lost raffles and marco as they were the central cuddlers. jj and harry adore each other and not related but are near in age. pixie and freddie my rescued moggies are very close. freddie because he is feral relies solely on his mum for guidance and security and she is such a good mum.

Re: Do your cats love each other?

Absolutely they love each other.
Some of them.
Some of the time!

Django adores Sabella and adored Serefina before she went missing.
He quite likes Bambi.

Sabella will wash Bambi sometimes but gets annoyed with her sometimes, especially if Bambi tries to sit with me during "her" time. Bambi adored Serafina but had little fall-outs now and then. She loves Django.

Bambi would like to be loved by both her mum and Django, but keeps putting her foot in it. She loved her sister Serafina and Serafina loved her.

This sounds like one of those quizzes where you have to work out the missing details!
