Grey rep recieved as I had to rehome Tigger

So why is that then I wonder, why would a member called Reflection give me grey rep but with no comment for my post entitiled "Tigger has moved"

What is grey rep for?

Not an easy decision and we're not jumping for joy in our household right now you know

Grey rep is given from a new member. I am not sure if positive and negative would both show up as grey from a newbie mind

Re: Grey rep recieved as I had to rehome Tigger

Looks like they only joined the forum at 6.30 this morning ((very odd they would even know what rep is as a new member))

I wouldn't worry the grey rep means nothing// has no effect as they haven't had enough posts to make it an effective red or maybe it was green, maybe they will post on this thread & throw a bit of light for you......

Re: Grey rep recieved as I had to rehome Tigger

Was there a comment? If not, then why worry about it? One's popularity on an internet forum full of people that I am never likely to meet isn't something I can bring myself to care about.

I have to admit, though, that I find it a bit...erm....strange that you're considering another cat so soon after giving up the last one for your son's allergies.

Re: Grey rep recieved as I had to rehome Tigger

This person has only made 2 posts so far and they were not of a friendly nature so I wouldn't be worrying too much about someone who appears to be a bit of a trouble maker.

There are some folks who should have the user name of "Wooden Spoon" because all they do is stir up trouble!!

Oh my goodness, how many times do I have to state on my other thread that I am merely considering and hoping that at some point in the future we may be able to have a cat in the family. I have said that its just a thought for the future. I am not thinking any time soon.

Who the hell do you think you are to make a comment like that?!

Hasn't anyone else noticed that there's been a rash of new members posting quite inflammatory things in several threads that have become very controversial in the past few days?

Could this be one person with a grudge posting under mulpiple new accounts? I'm quite new here but have seen this happen on other forums. Don't genuine new members generally settle in a bit before immediately going for the jugular - and don't they usually post on "nice" threads as well as the contoversial ones?

just an observation - could be totally wrong
