Just got a Catit litter box....

as the title says zooplus have just delivered my new litter box and i'm wondering how to convince the boys that it's safe to use.

So far i've transferred their 'dirty' (2 day old) litter into it & i've left the lid up for now. Rumbles came to investigate so i placed him in there but now he's curled up and gone to sleep in it! is this a good sign? how long do you think i should leave it until i put the lid down?

On a side note i also got 6 cans of Animonda carny, could'nt wait so i opened a can & mixed a little in with their normal food it disappeared in seconds & they're crying for more. I'm so glad i found this forum and through it zooplus

Re: Just got a Catit litter box....

I think the Catit trays are the best!!!!

Currently have one and am ordering the 2nd one next week when it's double points week on Zooplus!!!!

My lot like the extra bit of height but Merson doesn't seem to like the litter being so deep so I'll make the 2nd one a bit more shallow and see how he gets on with that one.

You'll really notice a difference when it comes to cleaning it out - SOOOOOOOO easy!!!!

DOUBLE POINTS! Think i'll be doing another order next week.

I chose it because of the size Pud is a big lad at 12lb & Rumbles looks like he's gonna be big too 6.8lb at 26 weeks! Hope they take to it, i want to order a 2nd one so that everything us tidy. Rumbles is a messy toilet user & i'm fed up of hoovering up litter!

Can you tell me a bit more about these trays - I think I am missing out

Is it the white one with a hood with a cat pic. on?

What size is it and how much does it cost?

Oh, and am really interested in the bit where you say it is really easy to clean - do you mean easier than other trays and why I like things which are easy to clean

It's this one hun:

Great deals on cat litter trays and accessories at zooplus: CatIt Cat Litter Tray

The top has a lid on it which you just open and it makes it MUCH easier for scooping out 'stuff'. No hassle with taking whole top halfs of boxes off or trying to bend down to get in through the gap.

We took the 'front flap' bit off ours as the cats don't like that.

I love it!! Well, as much as you can love a litter box......

Loving it also

Yes am definitely getting one.

Did you get an e-mail from Zooplus informing you about double points next week?

Glad that double points are on next week, could take me a few days to decide what colour to get

Did you go for a different colour this time around?

Anyone would think we were speaking about a new carpet or something, certainly not a cat litter tray Never mind, shows that we are of a certain kind here on PF!

Holly gets an e-mail and she put up a post about a week or so ago advising what offers were coming up on Zooplus in September. 26th September was Double Points week.

We currently have the tray with the blue lid and the next one will be the same. I loathe pink so THAT one was never gonna get over the front doorstep and I thought the grey was a bit dull. Colour choices are VERY important, I like my cats to be happy with their pooping and peeing environment.

Re: Just got a Catit litter box....

I have to second the blue selection it's what our boys have, there is no way anything pink gets in this male dominated house!
Loving it already heres to a smell free, clean litter future!

Sadly i have spent the afternoon on Zooplus deciding on what i'm going to buy next week, i do believe our furry masters have us well trained
