Grrr some people ....
Theres a woman that works with me who has just gotten a 12 week old kitty .. anyhow, after 2 days she comes into work saying he has to go because hes "naughty"!! Does she expect a kitten to just sit in a corner and behave?! Now her partner wants to get rid of him because hes been biting the coffee table! Why do people get pets (Especially babies) if they dont expect a bit of mess/damage!!!! I'm torn, been dying to offer to take him off her hands but ive already got 3! I just feel so sorry for him.

Re: Grrr some people ....
Really annoys me!! The kitten is stunning ... they just thought he'd be well behaved and kittens never are. At the moment im just making suggestions on how to handle his behaviour, not that im an expert ... my hands are full with me 3 lol! Shes letting him out at 5 months, i always thought this was too early?! Im not sure though since mine are all indoors

Re: Grrr some people ....
Would she get rid of a baby or young child if it was naughty?
Are you able to find another decent home for kitty?

Re: Grrr some people ....
acckk! so irritating how ignorant some people are
lucy was a nightmare when we first got her, calmed down alot now she has lots of toys and two other kitties to play with, but i was never have expected her to 'sit quietly in the corner'so stupid to expect that from animals, young ones especially! |

Re: Grrr some people ....
My kitten is 14 weeks old and getting more and more confident (read naughty!) But it's such fun, we are relishing all of it because it won't last long. As for biting the coffee table, well how about engaging with the kitten and providing something else for him to bite on? We have a large cardboard box (last delivery from Zooplus) with all his toys in, and he loves to jump in and out, play with his brothers, and bite the edges to death.
Sounds like she doesn't really want a cat at all. ![]()
