Re: Why do i look at gumtree!!

Thank you all - Truffles is here now she is lovely, seems very placid. She's given everyone a cuddle, including my 20 month daughter, she has had a wonder around but she has spent the last hour hiding behind the tv

I will post some pics as soon as she comes out of hiding though

Aww congrats on your new baby (I dont care how old they are - they we will always be our babies, as I keep telling my 19 yr old son )

I am sure she will soon settle in and decide your lap is a better place than behind the TV

Re: Why do i look at gumtree!!

Thanks, we didn't get off on the greatest start last night and truffles is still in hiding.

I left her hiding behind the TV last night thinking she would come out when she's ready so went off to bed, Coco followed me - as always! A little while later Truffles came to the bedroom door and was sitting there for a while. Coco didn't seem too bothered she just continued to lay on the bed watching her. Eventually truffles came in and went over to my daughters cot to have a sniff - so Coco started growling at her Then Truffles launched at Coco and started chasing her, Coco was trying to climb the curtains to escape her, then she chased Coco out the room and i think they had a bit of a quick fight before both finding somewhere to hide

Truffles was found in my sons room hiding under his bed, and Coco in my eldest daughters room hiding under her bed and couldn't get either of them to come out so went back to bed! Went to sleep, then an hour later my daughter woke up crying, I woke up in a panic - it was nothing she just wanted a bottle! ...So I got up to check where the cats were anyway and Truffles was back hiding behind the TV so i thought It'd be better to shut her in the living room for the night with her litter tray, food and water.

Then I think my son opened the door when he got up and she must have made a quick silent escape to find somewhere else to hide. Couldn't find her all morning but eventually found her hiding in the base of my bed!
Coco use to use my bed as a scratch post So there is now a big hole in the base of it so Truffles is now taking safety hiding in the base of the bed!

The kids are all out so its only me here for the rest of the day so its nice and quiet so hopefully Truffles will come out at some point...just not sure whether to move her food and water and stuff in that room or hope that she will come out and explore when she is hungry...Any suggestions???

Coco is 6 months old, she's grown up with lily rose (my youngest) and is very close to her so seems she a bit protective. She was fine until Truffles went near her cot and that was when she started growling. It was very sudden that truffles attacked and dont think coco was quite expecting it! She was terrified last night but seems herself today. Truffles hasn't come out yet she's still inside the bed.
