Christmas Presents for your kitties

So who buys Christmas presents for their cats?
This is my first year in over 10 years I have a cat and from what I have heard from his previous owner he didn't get much in the way of love. Wonder what I can get him for Christmas. Do Zooplus do Christmas items nearer the time?

Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

Molly will be having a little sack with her name on for her first proper christmas, we got her on christmas eve last year so she missed out on presents

Am runing out of ideas on what to buy her, but I'm sure there will be a few things she desperately needs

Hmm I don't, I just buy things for them every few months to compensate.

Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

I'm preparing to knit some kitty toys for Wee Man for giftmas. He's an indoorsy soul so the plan is to make a few different ones (one with bells, one with feathers, one that rattles, maybe a couple with catnip, I haven't decided yet) so I can hide different toys in different places to keep it interesting for him!

Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

Of course .Meeko gets way too much as it is ,but,he's part of the family,so needs his own little(well not so little)stocking Hiding the "bits"is the hard bit.If there is anything with a "scent" on it he will find it.I think you'll find "The Zoo" will have lots of "festive cheer"to help to relieve us of our pennies

Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

All of my pets get Christmas presents! Last year that included 5 dogs, 5 cats, 1 rabbit and 2 chinchillas, and this year there's an extra dog and rabbit too. The worst part is we buy each pet multiple presents, costs an absolute fortune! Although I must confess I prefer buying presents for the animals than for humans.

Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

Ours generally get some new soft fleecy blankets for Christmas, and some toys if we manage to find anything they might play with.

Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

Mine gets bday and christmas. He is a very loved member of the family. I have ordered some cat things from Alfie´s Ark (one of our members who does things for cats) and I´m thinking of also getting him a tunnel and another squeaking mouse which he loves to pounce on

Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

Used to get the bpys pressies but as they got older, they were not interested so we stopped.

Now that we have young Abby though, it'll be pressies all the way again this Christmas. She is into everything!!!!!

I'm thinking a couple of new kickers from Aurelia as the smell has worn off the other ones now and they're not playing with them anymore.

Also waiting to see how young Molly gets on with the 'bumpy' pressie that her Mummy & Daddy have got her for her birthday. (Can't say too much, she might be looking....) If Molly plays with it lots, then I'll look at getting one for Abby.

No doubt some other bits and bobs will find their way into our house with her name on them......
