Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

Last year I couldn't celebrate christmas with my boys because they couldn't come to Australia They did get some gifts though

This year (to make up for last) we will be having a big christmas with lots of presents! It will also be their first year with a christmas tree - I'm feeling brave They will get a big present to share - either a cat wheel or another large cat tree - and then lots of small individual presents to suit their natures. They will also get a custom version of a christmas feast

I find shopping for the boys easy. The real challenge is my oh!

Oh lord - the christmas tree!!!!!! This is currently under discussion in our house as we think if we put it up (fake so no nasty needles to hurt little pawsies) our top of the tree fairy will be black with a big fluffy tail!!!!!

We can't stop Abby trying to eat the plastic spider plant...... The tree will be naked within a week!!!!

Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

I'm really hoping that the boys don't try to climb or eat the christmas tree. It's plastic and smallish so even if they do the amount of damage is limited... unless they eat a good whack of it . At home I had a rainbow lorry who would go demented when we bought the tree out and terrorise the baubles but at least my cat never showed interest in it.

Hopefully the carefully wrapped presents underneath will be more tempting, but not too tempting. I guess we shall see

charleecat is on a distinguished road
Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

Yes Charleecat will get pressies for Christmas but it's her twelfth birthday November so she'll get a present for then too.

As for where to get them, I'm not sure. I'll check out Amazon as I'd like to get her a stocking to fill which is cat-themed.

They are worth spoiling!

Re: Christmas Presents for your kitties

Tom normally gets a cat stocking with bits in so luna will get the same, will add in some extra treats and toys though as since luna has been here tom has revived his forgotten love of catnip mice

We can have a tree just no tinsel as Gizmo will sit and eat the lot then has sparkly poops til new year First 3 years he also opened all the presents that were put under there and all had to be re wrapped! Thankfully he couldn't do it with the foil wrapping paper last year but then the kids had to use scissors to open their presents christmas day

Yes mine all get pressies and some turkey with gravy for the cats christmas dinner
