1st wee

Puss Puss as a lot of you know sleeps outside and will only come into my house to eat, not like Shadow who stays in overnight. I wish Puss Puss would as well
She was playing with Shadow downstairs in the house and they normally play as we call it hide and seek, well she went to hide in his litter tray which is not unusual but on this occassion she had a wee as well. I had already cleaned out his mess 10 mins earlier lol. I was so pleased she done it in his tray and not anywhere else. All I have to hope for is this does not stop Shadow from using it now. I think he is so laid back it wont worry him

Re: 1st wee

Maybe, with a bit of luck, this might be her gradually beginning to try out, and possibly accept, the different way of life that comes with being a cat in your house and she might start to stay in more - which I believe is what you have been hoping for.

If she has been used to a life outdoors, indoor stuff like litter trays probably seem a bit weird. However, if Shadow had used the tray just a few mins before, maybe she could smell him still and this encouraged her to have a try herself.

I really hope that this might be the beginning of her moving more indoors... Fingers crossed hun.

I do hope so moggybaby.
What I do not want is for her to feel trapped by me locking her in, so thats why things are progressing slowly.
I will say on the whole she seems more confident to wonder round the bottom half of the house on her own if Shadow lets her, he wants to play lol
I go outside at 7.45 in the evenings and play with her on my lawn and she is happy to cuddle up to me which is nice. I think I will have to turn on the spotlight as it is getting dark at that time now.

Re: 1st wee

With some luck, as the colder nights start approaching, she'll realise that it is better to be all cosy and warm inside than hunckered up under a car or a bush, all cold, outside....

Yes I agree. She has her little house if she wants to use it just outside my backdoor. It has her toys inside and a bed with a window to view out off.
