Do your cats/kittens run of with things in their mouths?

My kittens do! Last night one of them picked up a pair of my hubby's smalls out of the clean laundry basket and ran round the living room with it in her mouth. It was a real youtube moment! Leo has a habit of attacking my son's croc and has got his head stuck in it a few times and its funny to see him stuggle (not in a cruel way because he can easily get out). Funniest thing was when my daughter had a helium balloon and Susie grabbed the string in her mouth and made off with it with my daughter chasing after her. Its those moments I really need a video camera!

Re: Do your cats/kittens run of with things in their mouths?

yes I have a naughty Birman that steals things(usually socks and underwear) and walks round the house with whatever he has stolen in his mouth growling(my raggies usually look at him as if to say we don't want your smelly socks or underwear lol) he then always dumps whatever he has stolen into his water bowl or fountain, so I always find soggy socks and underwear lol he even got a orange into his fountain a few weeks ago, I had a guest in the house at the time and I just said I guess he is bored with boring old water and wants orange squash lol

I always seem to get one kitten picking up his naughty habits when I foster as well

One of the funniest things I've ever seen was Sam running off with a feather duster. He couldn't pick the whole thing up, so he grabbed a mouthful of feathers and ran off with the handle trailing behind him.

Re: Do your cats/kittens run of with things in their mouths?

When we rescued Marley he wasn't a kitten but was still fairly young. Keeping him inside to begin with drove him a bit loopy, we had mad half hours where he would tear around the house and on one occasion trotted into the lounge with a sock in his mouth!

Re: Do your cats/kittens run of with things in their mouths?

I have one of those big rubber fur-scraping brushes, for furniture or carpets. I have no idea why, but Ki ADORES this thing and drags it around the house.

I haven't really found it all that effective at removing hair from things. It was a gift from a friend who said it worked wonders for her. But I can't get rid of it, since she likes it so much lol.
