Kneading cats!

Spencer kneads a lot..and I mean a lot!! I love watching him do it as it's very cute but my god it hurts the breasts He seems to realise they're squidgy and moves further down to get the softest bit!! Doesn't help my costochondritis either!

Re: Kneading cats!

Plato, now gone, used to do this and yes, it was blimmin painful! Hobbes kneads as he humps the rug in front of the fireplace. Very embarassing when we have guests round.

Sorry Kaz - but that just made me laugh

I have a furry blanket that Willow kneads and she has only actually kneaded me tonight because I think she likes my cardi (obviously the angora one) - OH suggested I put it in her bed to encourage her to use it

When I told him i could, but obviously would have to go shopping to replace he didnt seem quite so keen on the idea (I think he is just jealous that Willow comes to bed and snuggles me and not him)

Re: Kneading cats!

Lol - I know the feeling too well, it also hurts like hell when 6kg's worth of cat stands on them (he has a habit of putting all of his weight onto one paw!) in the middle of the night too, trying to get comfortable.. Argh

ouchy!!! Spencer is only 2.5kg and that is heavy enough! Dread him doing it once he's actually fully grown!

Re: Kneading cats!

I remember my cat doing it to my OH when she hadn't known him long. . ..she was purring very loudly and kneading him all over and he was too polite to push her off. . .he has never had a cat and I remember him looking at her very confused!

Re: Kneading cats!

Ingrid does this quite often ,most often when I'm in bed but sometimes when I'm sitting on the sofa. The expression on her face makes me laugh-she concentrates so hard......and her little paws going up and down are so cute.aaaah!

Re: Kneading cats!

Sam sits on my lap a lot in winter and kneads for ages. As long as I feel like I'm getting a massage, we're fine, but as soon as it starts to become more like accupuncture I know it's time to cut his claws.

Lol! Spencer never seems to stick his claws into me, it's just the sheer weight of him!

Re: Kneading cats!

My cats dont really knead on me but my older cat likes to come and stand on me in bed right on my boobs. I have to make her wait until I have the duvet over my breasts to give them some padding its sooooo painful otherwise!!
