Has Sooty been neutered,if not, then having this done may go a long way to solving a lot of his problems

The only suggestion I have is finding a stable yard or similar that needs a resident mouse/rat catcher.Perhaps asking at some rescue centres if they know of anyone looking for a "working" cat.The yard my daughters horse is at have a resident, rescue, semi feral who gets looked after and has company most of the time but only when he wants it.Hope you manage to find some one for him, sorry I cant be more help.

It may be worth posting again in the cat rescue section ,giving a description of his needs.More people looking for a cat might see it there,or contact kelly-joy All About Animal Lifeline UK she may be able to help.

Re: Can any one help

I not sure if I can help, but I will try if you fill in this template of questions and then forward back to me at kelly-joy@animallifelineuk.org and I see if any rescues will take him.
Just a few quick questions as well, Is he a feral? , if not has he always gone to attack at unpredicted times? or has that just started? Also has his attacks increased and got worse? I only ask as sadly cats that have a tumour on the brain can act like that and as the size of the tumour grows the cat often displays more frequent attacks which are far worse, I am not saying he has one but it may worth getting him checked to check he hasn't, also get a full blood work on him to make sure he doesn't have an underlying problem which is coursing him pain or discomfort and making him strike out.

How do they get on with other cats:
How do they get on with dogs:
Are they an indoor or outdoor cat:
How many hours are they used to be left alone for:

When we have found a rescue that will take your cat do you mind if we pass them your contact number? (We will only pass to a reputable rescue who can generally help you):
