Urgent allergy help!!

Hi all,

I'm in a difficult situation. I know I have an allergy to some cats but I'm 100% fine with most cats, we already have two.

However, we want to adopt another but before we adopt I went to visit it to see if I was allergic. When I was there I was 100% fine, however after the visit I began itching much more than I would have expect and for a number of days.

I'm unsure why I was itching as normally if I have a shower I would have been fine. I think it might have been psychological or I may have been picking up the reaction from other cats what have lived in the house.

Even if I go back and visit I'm still not going to be sure either way. Does anyone know of a more reliable way to know if you have an allergy to a certain cat?

Help!!!! Please

Re: Urgent allergy help!!

Usually be quite severe itching, possible hayfever & asthma type symptoms.

Re: Urgent allergy help!!

I get red sore eyes if I get contact with strange cats

I was hideously allergic to both Mabel and Loki as they first came into my house (all my cats are rescues but was never allergic to Gypsy or Indy) but it faded over time/exposure
