Talking So excited and nervous!
It's not huge amazing news, but I'm so full of emotion I needed to share and I know you guys will understand... after months of discussion, my OH has 100% (ok, well maybe more like 90%) agreed to fur babies, yes babies

We have two big steps ahead of us before there is any kind of green light for the near future
  1. Ask our landlady's permission
  2. Visit breeders to check if OH has any allergic reactions

My OH said he would call the landlady last week, but work was busy However he has the whole day off tomorrow so he has no excuses! I'm so flipping excited at the thought of this actually going ahead but I'm also bricking it in the event that she says no... or that he's allergic and we'll never ever get to have kitties.

But first things first... Wish me luck, I'm keeping everything crossed!!!

Malibu, if it were me, I'd probably get a couple of rescue kitties, but my OH is allergic to just about anything with fur, with varying degrees of reaction, so we're investigating Siberians. I know that there is no actual proof of reduced allergens and we can't guarantee that he won't have an allergic reaction, but I'm hopeful, because what would I do without hope eh? Plus, they are beautiful creatures, I can't wait to meet some!

MCWillow, when I first suggested to pros of having two my OH was having none of it, but after a couple of hints that if we had only one, I'd obviously be the kitty's favourite, he soon came round, haha
