No, it's a different litter, You don't sound harsh at all, I appreciate the support that i've been given following Gloworm's passing. I asked the vet many times how the hell it caused such injury and all they could tell me was that it's how you land not the distance you fall, but I'm still in two minds as to what actually happened, my breeder has been fantastic and both the mother and father we're health tested and both perfect.

Oh I thought you were having a Post Mortem done to see if there were any other reasons why it happened ?

Re: When is the right time??

In answer to when is the right time?, only you know when is the right time and it is different for everyone. Some people need to get another furbaby straight way and its not because they are trying to replace the one they have lost, its often because they need a furry companion and because their old cat gave them so much joy they want to show that love again to another, though their are others that never have a cat again as the thought of having to go through the pain of losing one again is far to much for them to handle. There is no right or wrong its all up to the individual person and their thoughts and feelings. So if you feel it is the right time to get another then it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks you should do what you think and feel. look deep in your heart and you will find the answer you are looking for

No, I was having one done as I found out odd how Glo suffered such bad injuries from such a small fall, it was for my own peace of mind, plus the vet advised it

Re: When is the right time??

Malibu, you will never replace Gloworm and you will never stop loving him. Don't ever worry about that. He has a place in your heart and soul that will be forever his. What you will be doing is making your heart bigger to be able to give lots of love to another kitten and giving it its own place within you.

Timing is a very personal issue and only you will know when it feels right. Some people are unable to get another cat for several years after a much loved one has passed on. Other people find that giving love to a new baby makes it easier to deal with their grief. Neither is right nor wrong. It is just personal to ourselves.

Re: When is the right time??

i think its a great idea. you wont be replacing gloworm you know that, but your little girl may get over losing him easier with a new kitten to occupy her.
