OKO Litter on Zooplus

Just been mooching....... again...... and noticed the following:

10l bag of OKO = £8.99

5l trial size of OKO = £3.99

So you will save money (and back ache) if you buy 2 trial size bags coz then you get 10l of litter for £7.98.

Re: OKO Litter on Zooplus

I've noticed that with some of their 'trial packs' of tinned food before now.. Where it would have been cheaper just buying loads of the little packs rather than the big ones. Sensible move Zooplus

I assume with it being clumping it is no good for kittens? A friend was asking today but I didn't like to advise wrongly

Re: OKO Litter on Zooplus

Sure they don't have something which says only 1 trial package per customer per order?

Don't see why they would make a bigger pack more expensive than a trial pack.

This is NOT at all unusual. Too many retailers think that the clients are stupid! I see it ALL the time when out shopping. You have to be VERY canny and keep your eyes peeled when purchasing goods.

Now that I think about it I have noticed that with cereal.

The 400g rice Krispies works out cheaper per 100g than the 600g Rice Krispies boxes.

I always notice people taking the 600g boxes instead of the 400g ones.

Indeed!!!!!

A certain supermarket has a long running special offer (over a year now....) on my fave coffee - 2 x 100g jars = £5. The 200g jar is £5.85.

And that is only one example off the top of my head.

I use it with my two kittens with no problems.... The lady I bought them off is not only an experienced breeder, but also a vet, and she doesn't see a problem with using it with kittens.
