Re: changing bedding

Ah yes, we call it the "Making the Bed Game!" Pippin was the master of it. He'd come running upstairs if he heard me stripping the bed and then he'd like getting made up into it--under the fitted sheet in fact, where he'd scoot around for a while until he came out to "help" put the comforter on. Now, Jezebel has taken over and the kittens seem to be wanting to learn the game.

Oh, yeah, and Ragnar and Kelso also want to play, but somehow 60lbs of corgi on my clean sheets does not make for a fun game for me

Re: changing bedding

Ki LOVES this game.

Now that hubby is up and she's still pissed at me for making her be quiet and leave him alone, that might be a good way to cheer her up.

Re: changing bedding

We have to shut Lillie out when we change the bed now - she bounces of and on the bed and pulls the sheet off the bed as we put it on either by chasing the corners as they go down the side of the bed and oucing on them and draggin them back or by getting under the sheet and then chasing the corners. The last time it took me 25 mins to get just the sheet on the bed as I had her 'help'

Re: changing bedding

Monty goes crazy running around attacking the sheet, hanging off pillow cases and getting in the duvet cover and he's always much more playful when you are trying to do it in a rush but it is kinda cute

Re: changing bedding

I think it's normal!!! well as normal as our crazy kittehs get!!! Alfie gets under the sheet as your trying to put it on... hangs off the pillowcases as you try and put them on the pillows... runs around under the duvet as you try and put the cover on and then when your shaking and fluffing up the duvet he lays on top so he can get flung up in the air!! He loves it... the second I start taking the stuff off the bed he's there!

Re: changing bedding

My three were not very interested in the bedding until recently, now even the act of shaking out the duvet to lay it on the bed results in at least one, sometimes two lumps under it

Here's are the boys show how much the like the bed after I get up:

Re: changing bedding

Dont know if I would call it help .A job which used to take 10 minutes now takes up to 30 minutes.First there is the "help" taking off the sheets and duvet cover. Then there is the help sliding under/ on top of and helping in general with the sheet. Then comes the fun bit trying to get the duvet in the cover without the 4 legged furry lump always being "there".Sometimes I stop for a coffee break in the middle thinking if I leave him to it he will get bored, but no,he just has a kip, and waits till I come back, then starts to help all over again.I could shut him out the bedroom but what would be the fun in that
