Re: Never, ever, ordering tinned food from Zooplus again

I definitely spoke to a German customer services girl during my lengthy conversations about my missing parcel - which arrived via Parcel Force International (eventually!!).

I also defended Zooplus further up on a post.
As Holly said. Its not an English company. And they are not sold in England, they are shipped from elsewhere. Why do you think we can get such a wide variety of German pet food NOT sold in the UK? We can;t have it both ways.

ANYWAY - the feliway instructions are very easily obtained online, for free, as a webpage. So its really a non issue. You saved quite a few quid, and its cost you a google.

Just because you defended them once, then said they buy damaged stock to buy cheap doesnt really help :S Saying a nice thing, then making wild accusations totally out of proportion to the issues had (which are easily explained) does not make it better...

Re: Never, ever, ordering tinned food from Zooplus again

Well known fact that any tinned dog or cat food will produce maggots within 48 hours of been opened.
Thats how us fishermen get our bait.
But not good news when it arrives on your doorstep for your pets.

If I want to I can buy a domain name with .de or .au on it - I don't have to live there - it would just make my site easier to find in those countries - so just cos it's .uk doesn't mean the company is in the uk - just they paid for a domain name with .uk in it.

I think Shyboots is meaning the lack of Wales and Scotland mentioned (and maybe some Irelands? I confuse GB and UK lol) :P

My order has just arrived, I'm surprised the smaller items are still in the box because the holes were so big.. Then there was the stench, you guessed it - some of the tins had burst during delivery and my order had actual real live maggots crawling around in there, plus the numerous flies that have already hatched.. I've got rid of the box outside and it's literally all I can smell in my house. I physically want to be sick.

Well and truly disgusted this time around.. Never again
That is awful!! I hope you took some pictures of it and sent it to zooplus and parcel force before you cleaned it all up. I'm shocked and horrified that your package was delivered to you in that state!!

Re: Never, ever, ordering tinned food from Zooplus again

They have an office and returns centre in the UK but their main office is in Germany.

In our 3 European offices in Munich, Germany, Strasburg, France, and Oxford, England

Our central office (for snail mail):
zooplus AG
Sonnenstraße 15
80331 München

We work with delivery partners across Europe to ship to 20 different countries.

This proves they are not a UK company:

We ship to the United Kingdom (England, Scotland and Wales).

If they were in the UK they wouldn't be 'shipping' to here!

If you are visiting from outside the UK and would prefer to place your order in Euro, you’re welcome to visit our international shop at zooplus.com. We also offer an Irish shop at zooplus.ie.

Oh and they have an irish site - that doesn't mean they are based in Ireland

Forgot this bit too - notice it says it is a trading name.

zooplus.co.uk is the trading name of zooplus AG registered in Germany,
under company registration number
Munich HRB 125080
UST-ID: DE 200 164 421
