After the girl I got the kittens from couldn't tell me when they were born and could only tell me they were "roughly 4 months old" we have decided on a birthday for them. The vet agreed they are between 4 and 5 months going by their teeth.

So..we've decided on the 16th April 2011. I hated not having an actual date for them and the thought of not knowing when their birthday is made me I know it's probably not their actual birthday but it's good to have a date

We had to do that with Abby. We just picked a date and hoped for the best.

Oscar I had to try and work out as he came from a pet shop and was approx 9 weeks.

When I got Merson, I asked when he was born and the woman replied "I think it was the 9th March. We went upstairs at 11pm on the 9th and Mummy was still pregnant but when we came downstairs at 8am on Sat 10th, they were born."

I used a bit more common sense and figured that he was more likely to have been born in the 8hrs of the 10th than the 1 remaining hour of the 9th. So his birthday is the 10th March.

But it would be nice to know the exact dates of the other two....

Mine were about 9 weeks on the 6th December so I've decided they were born on 1st October. They were dumped in a box on someone's doorstep with their mum and brother, poor things, so nobody knows for sure.

Now, what should I buy them for their first birthday?!

Both my babies were born in June - the big 2 legged one will be 20 on the 3rd and my lil 4 legged one will be 1 on the 25th

Likewise I don't have an exact date for when my little man to be was born apprently the people we're getting him from went away the weekend he was born - they left a pregnant cat on Friday and came home to kittens on Sunday....although it could have been any of those days - I'm probably going to choose the Friday as his birthday.

The girl didn't know at all, she just said they were roughly 4 months a fortnight ago so that kind of gave me the whole of April to choose from.

I'm not entirely sure when my babies where born but they are 11 weeks old and I counted back on the calendar and its round about the 27th June so that'll do! I shall buy some fancy catfood and put a candle on it next year!

my last cat was born on a farm, so also unsure of her b'day, so we made it 1st April

now Roscoe, he was born on starwars day (may the 4th)

My boy Frankie was a rescue cat, no one knew when he was born or how old he really was, I gave him his Birthday, the day we took him home, 28th December, he'll be 7 this year

I've had to do that with my 2...and its all guess work sadly. The vets thought that they were 8 and 10 weeks old so I worked it out to be 15th and 29th June summer babies.
