Maybe a good diet and healthcare will be all he needs. She said he does get this from time to time but maybe that will change.
Do I get him tonight anyway and hope some chicken and pro Kalin plus a vets trip for check up and worm sorts him out.... Or do I run for the hills??
Reading your story brought up mine of very recent we purchased a kitten earlier this year everything was fine when we visited him then two weeks after I rang to see how the kitten was doing the breeder said that the kitten was not eating properly we agree perhaps that it was the hot weather then when it was time to pick the kitten up the the breeder said he has recover and he has soft poo and is ok she had him taken off his special diet of royal canin sensitivity and that he was checked by her vet and is able to eat normal cat food felix I found out when I rang the breeder's vet she actually took the kitten off his special food because she thought we won't have the kitten if he was on expensive food when we had the kitten he was 5 months old and already under weight the breeder said the kitten was a fussy one so I thought well I can cope with it I shall take good care of him and be patient with his feeding.

Having the kitten home I fed him felix what the breeder gave me the poor kitten had diarrhea straight away I took him off felix and fed him boiled rice and fresh chicken he got better straight I then put him on fresh diet of rice, beef or chicken with peas or carrot he tolerate that for a week but still had diarrhea the second week the diarrhea would not stop we took him to the vet as soon as we had him the vet and myself did everything the kitten was still sick in the end I had to have him put down by the RSPCA poor little mite was actually very ill the breeder lied to us about the real fact of the kitten illness.

Now I am not saying your kitten is as sick as the one we had but please please think very carefully before you take that kitten on has the lady took the kitten to her vet for a check up? if not I can only say please let her take the cat to her vet and see the outcome. We spend so much money on vet fees and the heartache to put the kitten down we are still trying to recover from it that was 28th of July this year we lost the kitten.

I hope this will help you a little before you make your decision.

It's a tough decision because, as you think, it could be his rubbish diet which would then be easily sorted out.

However, what if it is something more serious and you end up running up a huge vet bill........

I know you may not like this suggestion as you have been so excited about getting him but it would be wise to be cautious.....
That's exactly what happens to us the breeder lied and made light of the kitten's illness it was so sad to have him put down I was in floods of tears as I had to have him put down the same date as our beloved cat of 20 years old now I grieve for two cats.

Thank you.

Oh! ok I didn't see the age I was too busy reading the story and felt horror still fresh with mine but I am aware the story is obviously different that the lady's 18 months old cat is perhaps not as sick as my kitten situation like that is so awful you get used to a cat then something happens.

Oh Marie imam so sorry to hear about your kitten.

My heart took over my head tonight and I am very annoyed with myself. It's just not me to be irresponsible but I have been tonight and now pray I've not landed us in trouble

Re: Do I get this cat or not? Urgent opinions please

He's been on a boiled chicken diet for 2 days and started him on pro Kolin last night. I got him vet apt for Friday but managed to move it forward to Thursday. He's weeing fine and generally in his tray. He's pooping at a normal frequency but still loose.
Going to have him checked over and tested at vets.
Thank you for asking. It's been an awful 2 days knowing I've been very silly but just have to deal with it now for him
