Cats and vacuums
I wonder if it is common to most cats but each time I switch on the vacuum Merlin vanishes behind one piece of furniture or the other. He is accepting it a bit now, I guess they donīt like loud noises

Mine hate it and retreat behind the furniture, Monty's hate wasn't too bad until I was giving the cat tree a once over with the small brush attachment and I didn't realise he was in one of the dens and as I ran it over the top he shot out at a rate of knots

Merson hates the Dyson with a passion and does a runner the minute he sees it coming out of the cupboard.

Oscar just ignores it and carries on sleeping wherever he is.

Abby is undecided so far. She watches it from a height but doesn't seem too fussed by the noise. I think she is more bemused that 'Mummy is stroking the carpet with a funny looking brush.....'

Our two absolutely HATE the vacuum cleaner. It's their least favourite thing in the world. Even the sight of it now sends them darting behind the sofa.

Yep mine hates it too slinks off to the boys bedroom to hide under the bed lol - there are the odd few times he rebels and refuses to move off the rug but a quick brush with it soon sends him off lol

Yep my 3 hate the 'woo woo' Mercedes heads for the cat flap the minute i open the cupboard it lives in. Mclaren watches it until i switch on and then he is off and Malibu likes to watch from on high usually on top of the stairs!

Rosie absolutely hates it and hides as soon as I get the cleaner out Mai Tai however would happily let you hoover her up She just sits there until you nudge her out of the way

Molly doesn't hate it as such, she just sits on the sofa keeping a very close eye on whoever is using it.
