Re: E-cigarettes vapour can be harmful for your pet cats (propylene glycol-antifreeze

Thankyou for bringing this to peoples' attention, have given you rep, it might be accompanied by some gibberish though as I clicked send accidentally before I'd finished it
I think if hubby's going to have one of these ecigs when he gives up smoking we'll have to look into this further

Well, it's quite nice of you to bring this to the public notice as to how the electronic cigarettes can effect the health of the pets. Though you are correct there is a slight variation that i would like to make to your views. The vapor fumes that are liberated by an electronic cigarette are quite mild and almost 98% of these vapors are consumed by the smoker himself. So it would near to nothing effect the environment around the smoker.

There are studies being carried out as to how dangerous the vapour is. It's just like passive smoking, yes the smoker inhales the majority of fumes. But day in, day out passive inhalation build ups. Passive inhaling is a risk, why risk it?

And the vials that the PG comes in, should be kept well away from cats. If a cat should play with one and the liquid leaked out and ingested. Goodbye cat.

There is an inarguable danger.
