We also have the other one that has the bumps and the flashing ball, we have the add-ons but as you see in the pic we don't really use them.

Steverags - Loving the picture - thanks for showing that.

So, the pic. is showing 3 tracks fastened together - yes?

How about the one with the bumps and the flashing ball? Will that join onto the standard circuit or not? Also, do they like the bumps and flashing ball one?

Scarlett

Spid - Thanks for the info. Definitely not going to go for the add-ons, will just get the circuit track or 2 of them or 3 of them

Re: Question regarding 'Catit Senses Track Circuit' toy

We only have the one circuit (for now.... that could be about to change having just seens Steverags picture....... ) and Abby loves it!!! She plays with it regularly. We have is in a circle shape and she loves whizzing the ball round and round. She didn't like the snaky shape and just ignored it.

Both of my older boys - 10 & 13 yrs - are not interested in it at all. Merson will watch Abby whizz the ball round but has not shown any inclination to do it himself.

Also, we have found that if you 'lock' the top pieces in, the ball gets stuck and doesn't go round so well. This means that we don't lock them and they regularly come off which means Abby can then get the ball out and lose it all over the house. She's not very good at telling us where it is and just follows us around when we're trying to locate it. I'm sure she's miaowing "You're cold, very cold, getting warmer, nope cold again......." when we're hunting for it!!!

Re: Question regarding 'Catit Senses Track Circuit' toy

I have one circuit, none of the add ons. My kittens love it and I've not come across any problems of the ball getting stuck or any bits coming off. None of my adult cats have taken that much notice of it.

A slight word of warning in relation to another aspect, though! A couple of times, I've noticed that one of my kittens has managed to wedge his paw into one of the smaller gaps, and to me it looked quite stuck. I am not sure if he would have been able to get it out by himself as I've been there to help him. This probably wouldn't be an issue for an older/bigger cat. So I only let them play with this whilst someone is around - I wouldn't leave this out for them to play with if no-one was at home.

Another thing I do is to rotate the toys around so the kittens don't get bored. So for a day or two I might get the feather dangler toy out for a play, the next day it could be the scrunchy tunnel, the next the cat circuit etc. And then there are toys such as tin foil balls or catnip mice that are out all the time or hidden in the dens in the cat tree.

Willow got hers today - played with it non-stop for about an hour - took a break for some dinner then went straight back to it

Re: Question regarding 'Catit Senses Track Circuit' toy

I have one for Jango and he loves it

Was worried he would go off it quite quickly but he keeps on going back to it and adores it. He will go completely mad at times jumping around off all fours, jumping over the track and pouncing on the ball from midair. Its so fun to watch

We've had ours for a good 2 months now too Have absolutely no problems at all.
