for 4 days it was the same me at the vets 1st thing india being put on a drip then returning to collect her tht evening, she was disorientated, couldnt control her back legs and her head was constantly shaking as if something was wrong with her central nervous system, the vet decided on the 5th day to pts,
it wasnt until months down the line that i stubbled across a f/b page warning about it that i did some research and it all clicked together...i dont know how this stuff is still on the shelves!
I am so sorry you lost your little girl I know that these product don't work but I did not know that they could kill this year seems to be a bad year for fleas. Big hug from me and my furbabies

Re: Please help kitten with fleas

Please do check with you vet, or the information line on the packet....but I was of the opinion that 4fleas ( or Capstar ) could be used alongside spot on treatments as it is a totally different chemical. It is only active for 24 hours or so and only kills adult fleas but would at least give her some relief from them biting.

Re: Please help kitten with fleas

The safest way to treat a kitten for fleas is to bathe him using warm water and dish-washing detergent. After the bath, go over the kitten with a flea comb. You can use vet's suggested flea spray for controlling them. Treat your kitten with great care and don't hesitate to take the advice of your veterinarian.
