Update from kitten visit to the vet

Hi, just thought I'd give you an update after my visit to the vet tonight with my little kitten.
She had been on antibiotics for the last week for what the vet thinks was a tummy bug. She is much better in herself now but still has runny poo about 3 times a day.
So after the advice from Hobbs (thank you!) I asked the vet about both testing her stools and about probiotics.
He took her temp and looked at the sample I had brought and said he didn't think it was worth testing at the moment and just thinks it is the reaction to the AB, So he has given me some probiotics, I think something similar to Pro Kalin but in a powder format to help firm up her stools.

Is it common for kittens to continue to experience diarrhoea after having had antibiotics and then for the probiotoc to help?
I'm just concerned for her as she is tiny for her age so can't afford to lose any more weight and alos doesn't drink very much water..

Thanks
