Re: Do your cats bring things indoors?

Alfie is an indoor cat and brings us various items we don't want ranging from grapes, shrunken grapes (that he's hidden somewhere previously) Moths and spiders.

Sam, my mum and dads cat as bought in the following:
Spiders
Moss
Caterpillers
Bird heads!
Mice (dead and alive)
Balloons
A rubber glove
banana skins
leaves

So regardless if they are indoors or outdoors they will still bring you in a variety of things you really don't want but we still love them to bits and clear up after them!

Re: Do your cats bring things indoors?

Yes, Mortimer used to - the most memorable was a blue tit that was just getting its adult feathers. There was a lot of noise from the bathroom so I went to investigate and found a totally bemused cat trying to work out what to do with this chick that was on its back kicking hell out of his nose!

I rescued it and it survived overnight so I took it to the vet who passed it on to a wildlife rescue (at least I hope that's what they did )

Esmerelda soon learned that mammy didn't like her to bring half eaten mice in - neither did she like live ones running around her living room, so she stopped hunting. She was a very clever girl.

Re: Do your cats bring things indoors?

Pixel went from a twig, to a rock, to a frog and then onto mice and birds and I really don't like it. Although people say that cats catch things to bring back as presents, he won't let us have what he catches and runs off growling.

Tess on the otherhand, can't be bothered. There was a baby bird in our garden that was squealing, she ran outside, sniffed it then wandered back in the house and went to sleep
