If I am at work I scoop 3 times a day, and every time I scoop there is at least one, but usually 2, poos. Is this because of their diet?

Hmm dunno! I only scoop once in the morning when I get up, Maisies a pretty regular kind of girl one late evening one early morning, she has a big wet meal when were off to bed so all poops are when were not around

I guess with two cats...your gunna get 4-6 a day maybe

Thanks, I just wasn't sure if they were going so much because their diet is full of crap that they don't digest - and it stinks!!!

Will being on a higher meat content diet mean they won't go as much because there is more goodness in the food? I'm hoping it will at least help with the smell!

Tig won't eat wet food, Dallie won't eat dry food, and they both have very smelly poo!

Merlin usually once a day, sometimes 2 times. He eats both wet and dry (more wet than dry).

typical! I've changed litter and got a hooded tray so once they are on a better diet I'm hoping the smell will ease a bit! I wouldn't mind if I could only smell it when I'm at the litter tray but the room smells too!

It might depend on how often you feed them..... I feed mine three times a day and I'm sure they all go about three times a day because I am always cleaning poo out of the trays. It is difficult to assess with three cats and being out at work all day as to who is doing what & how often.

Not sure about my 3 big cats since they use the garden, but Amber goes 2 - 3 times a day.

I got quite worried about this at one stage, lilly is once or twice a day, normally morning and night - jet well once a day but sometimes its every other but boy dont i know then with the amount

Am lucky tho no smells
