Zooplus savings plan

I have been on holiday for a couple of weeks, so apologies if people have seen this already .... but I have just done my "monthly shop" at Zooplus and noticed that they have introduced a scheme, whereby for a one off payment you get a discount on subsequent orders. For instance I paid £9.90 today, which gives me 5% off future orders for the next three years. I thought there must be a catch, but I can't see it if there is.

It starts applying immediately - today's order came to just over £90 and the 5% discount was £4.53 - so that's already nearly half the £9.90 back just in one order. With the 5% I also get back from ordering through Quidco, that's 10% on each order.

I also had a load of reward points and have cashed them in on a Cat Senses Play Circuit , so we shall have some fun when that arrives.

Re: Zooplus savings plan

Sounds like a good offer.

I've just worked out that over 3 years, on an avg monthly spend of £50, I will save £81. Would actually be £90 but have deducted initial £9.90 payment.

That's not to be sniffed at....

Re: Zooplus savings plan

I believe they've been rolling this out for some time now. Someone posted about these type of offers a while ago though not everyone on here including myself, had been approached.

I've taken up this same offer since and like Ali it has paid for itself! My orders are always over £75 so effective a 10% saving each time!

Re: Zooplus savings plan

I got offered it last time I ordered as well, I think you must have to place a certain amount of orders or spend a certain amount each month because I know others that were offered it a while back.

And dont forget to use the STOCK-UP code for 5% off orders over £75 as well, you get this discount in conjunction with other offers too.

Re: Zooplus savings plan

I was given this offer on my first ever order, and took them up on it. I think I've already saved the money back, in 3 orders.

Re: Zooplus savings plan

I just made my first ever purchase on zooplus and never got offered it. I did buy through quidco though - not sure if that makes any difference?

Re: Zooplus savings plan

I was just being offered that! I'm loving it. Half paid with one order. Maybe now I can convince hubby to get a large cat tree!

Re: Zooplus savings plan

I was offered this on my last order.
I guess I have spent about £200 over about a year, but have used Top Cashback on every order (I'm sure I've only had about 4 orders!). But yes, now with the TOP-UP and this discount, it looks like I'll be getting a minimum of 10% and a maximum of 15% off every order.

They'll be keeping my custom.
