Next visit to the vets?

Hi All,

Amber is now 12 weeks old...she has had her first lot of injections when she was 9 weeks...does she need more now?

I have not had a kitten before other than when i lived with my parents so can't really remember!

I would have thought the vets would be in contact to book an appt but i haven't heard from them? Should i call, is there anything else she needs?

I frontlined her once she was 1kg...not sure when she will need another go?

I wormed her once a day for 3 days, then once a week until she was 12 weeks...now i am told she will need it once a month until 6 months.
The wormer is an 'oral paste' (lovely) and i think it is amcur....but could be wrong spelling and all!!

Any advice is appreciated

Thanks

Hi our vet books the second injection visit for 2 weeks after the first one. Definitely ring them and find out what's happening with it. I frontline my cats every 5 weeks and did when they were kittens.

Re: Next visit to the vets?

Kitten vaccinations consist of two injections 3 weeks apart, your vet should have explained this at your last visit, please call asap and get your kitten booked in for the second one as I'm not sure how long you can leave between the two injections.

Re: Next visit to the vets?

Kitten vaccs are between 3-4 weeks apart BUT if you go over the 4 week distance then you have to start the course over again!!!! Even by one day you have to start again!
