Sorry I put this question on the pet show main thread and it probably will be missed. It is bugging me however, just curious to know what 'mitted' means with Ragdolls, does it mean having colour on the legs? or something else? Its not something that I've had when breeding colourpoint Persians so just being nosey really and trying to learn something new every day, like you do

Mitted hun means the colour has mitted feet (white) hope that helps

I always thought mitted meant the darker colour on the paws! Gorgeous pic by the way!

no hun they are white btw picture is not one of my cats i want a mitted got all the others but no mitted yet

Ahhhh that is strange to me, you dont get that with Persians, looks like they got little white bed socks on, ever so cute There you go learnt my new thing for today, lol

Think it comes from their Birman ancestors Chrissy..

The foundation cat Daddy Warbucks was a Birman type cat with white mitts
