Hi Life

I'm starting to prepare to wean Pixie's Kitten's onto wet food, and brought some Hi Life kitten food, is this a good food to wean them onto? also I have 2 other kitten's who are 14weeks old and have been on Classic Cat, what is the best way of putting them onto Hi Life, just want them all on the same food

Re: Hi Life

Hi-Life isn't a bad choice, around 60% meat if i remember rightly.

You have 2 options here...

1. Go for it and just ditch what you were feeding before and be prepared for possible upset tums which may or may not happen.

2. Use the gradual approach by adding a little of the new to the old and slowly (over 2-3 weeks) increase the new until the old is phased out. This is the best way to avoid tummy trouble but you will need patience and will need to feed them seperately until the change is complete.

What would i do? Well, option 1, but that's not necessarily the correct answer!
