Dog Meets De-de!!

Evening all

Husband has been doing phased introductions all week (i'm to panicky) first in the cat box then 2 mins under close supervision daily. Reg is my 13 year old long legged Jack russel cross. Now he's very active for an old guy. He has always been brought up with cats when he came to us (rescued) we had Angus then Little Mo came along after Reg and they all got along fine. Reg in truth was frightened to death of Angus (big fluffy male) Mo tolerated him but never really liked him to much.

Well fast forward to the new kittens they have been in the living room all week having a look round when dogs in garden or out on walks. Tonight i opened the door and De-de legged it (how a kitten could move so fast i'll never no!!) Reg was sat outside the door on the bottom stair she was that fast he didnt initially see her I panicked like i do!! and shut Dotty in the front room Reg spots De-de and freezes cowering De-de panicks and trys to get back in front room (remember i've shut the door) De-de hisses at Reg Reg legs it to his bed Crisis over door open De-de legs it back in to her sister I pour large Vodka!!

Now i'm sure they will be allright but he is a terrier and these are 12 weeks old so move preety fast.

Lesson learned
De-de can move like a panther
Reg is an utter wuss
I can't tell the differance between a single and triple measure of vodka
