Re: Where does your cat sleep at night-time?

Jess spends most of the night on my bed - usually spralled out in the middle while I'm squashed up at the edge Occassionally she'll sleep on the stairs but not for the whole night.

When I go out I just shut the living room and kitchen doors as that's where the alarm sensors are. She then has the rest of the house to play in or do whatever she does when I'm not there

We got our alarm sensor's changed to the pet friendly sensor's. We were warned that the cat could still set them off however this has never happened.

Re: Where does your cat sleep at night-time?

Oscar comes to bed with us 99% of the time and he sleeps on the bed, usually ending up inbetween me and hubby and under the covers with his head on the pillow

Re: Where does your cat sleep at night-time?

Mine have the run of the house. When we are at work they spend the day either in the hammock in the front bedroom hooman watching, or they sit on the table in the kitchen looking out the window. My cat mad neighbour who unfortunately no longer has any cats loves to tell me what they do. At least if they ever go missing i know where they will be.

During the night Ted sleeps at the end of the bed - he has his own blanket . Ted also has this weird obsession with my memory foam pillow and sometimes pushes me off the pillow to sleep on it or just sleeps round my head lol.

Lily either sleeps in the hammock or wedged between me and the hubby above the covers and then gets under the covers about 3ish

I then get woken at 4 by Ted and Lily meowing at me and nibbling my toes

Re: Where does your cat sleep at night-time?

When OH is at home (usually only weekends) the guys are not allowed in the bedrooms so normally Mecedes likes the office chair which like her is black and i can never see her on it! McLaren has a cushion on a chair in the lounge and Malibu likes the window sill in the conservatory. Weekdays when there is just me and youngest daughter they normally end up taking over either of our beds.

When we go out they have full run of the house except for the toilet/bathroom although they tend to like the conservatory if they are not outside in the garden

Re: Where does your cat sleep at night-time?

Mine have the run of the house. They do have a cat-nursery where there are beds and climbing frames etc. There are litter trays upstairs and downstairs so that if they choose to snooze in the sitting room, they can use the one in the hallway under the stairs. If they choose to sleep in the nursery or with me on the bed, they can use the one in the cat room. Once they have had their nocturnal steeplechase (the event that normally starts off at c. 23:00 hrs and continues until about 00:30 ish), they tend to settle down on my duvet and snooze there.

Re: Where does your cat sleep at night-time?

Honey always sleeps with us or above our daughters head on her pillow in her bedroom.
Indy also with us, if they get a little hot they both go onto the landing.

They have full run of house day and night and are normally very well behaved

Second night that Mitzi was up with us. She is getting better, if she gets bored she takes herself downstairs to play.

She doesn't exactly sleep with us, more patrol the bed. Not that I mind, to hear her chirping at me as an alarm clock is lovely .
