Re: OKO Plus Litter

Kaz, which litter did you end up going for? Have read the thread but I think I lost it somewhere....

Also, on the subject of actual litter trays - Zooplus had this on offer a couple of weeks back and I got one. Well, it is BRILLIANT!!!!

Great deals on cat litter trays and accessories at zooplus: CatIt Cat Litter Tray

The lid-lift on the top makes cleaning out SOOOOOOOO easy, it's great. The cats also seem to prefer the really deep tray as they are using this one much more than the other covered one we have. So much so, in fact, I am probably going to have to get a 2nd one to ensure even tray usage.

If your cats are bigger, or likely to be, it is quite tall at 46cm BUT it doesn't appear to be. I feel that the old tray is much more obtrusive than this one despite being smaller.

Oh thanks for this!! I got the OKO litter! I think it's fab.

Have only got the one litter tray just now as they are only in one room but am going to be getting another for when they venture out more and may well get this one! It looks great!

Thank you for that - I'll give the OKO a try then.

Just to add re the tray - my lot just DON'T do 'flaps' so I have to take them off. This tray has a clear flap which some cats might find easier to get on with than the smoked ones which make the tray darker inside. If yours don't take to the flap, then it is very easily removed.

It's great - clumps so well so you hardly take any out when you scoop! I did say it hasn't really helped hugely with the smell but as I mentioned that's probably down to their diet.

Oh, that's good! I think it's maybe that Skye just hasn't fathomed them out. It also needs a bit of a push and she gave up

Will definitely look into it! Doing a zooplus order soon to order them some Smilla and more litter (only got a little 10l bag from P@H to try it out) so will get it then
holly2009 and MoggyBaby like this.

I think the smell might also be down to the cat.

My three all eat a smilla / bozita / animonda combo. They all eat exactly the same food at the same time. When the boys go poopy - I'm none the wiser until I go to clear the trays. When Abby goes poopy, on the otherhand, it is clothes-pegs at the ready....... She is one honky-tonky little lady!!!!

They're just on supermarket pouches at the moment as that's what they were on before I got them. I'm hoping a high quality, high meat content diet is going to help. I wouldn't mind but the smell seems to be there all the time and I scoop at least 3 times a day!
