new kitten

Hi

Just after a little advice really we picked up our newest edition on Thursday and he is so adorable and settled in well. We also have milo who is 7 and he has taken it all in his stride and is really intrested in George.
However Suki who is 15 months is not a happy pussy, we are keeping George in one room at the moment and suki hisses and spilts as she walks passed, she is being really nasty and terrorising Milo and is generally pee'd off with us and is refusing any fuss and love.
She is normally so so affectionate and is like a baby who loves cuddles, will she return to her normal loving self once she gets used to having George in the house? Im missing her loving snuggles

Many thanks Emma x

Re: new kitten

The honest answer is how long is a piece of string? And probably. Have you tried feliway plug in? Take it slow, try scent swapping, read the sticky in the behaviour section and most of all give it lots of time and love.

Re: new kitten

Hi there! Read my thread on "introducing kitten to resident cat" in the Behaviour Section. Lots of helpful replies and a daily account of our progress too!

Like Spid says take it slowly! Fluffy our older cat is now beginning to purr more now and not so stressed! It still really early days but we're slowly getting there.
