Hi, I have a cat run in my garden which has a wooden frame and wire mesh. Its therefore not rainproof and as we go towards winter I would like to put some kind of (cheap) roof on it so my cats can still use it when its raining.
Can anybody suggest anything that may be suitable? Eg could I use some kind of tarpaulin, or plastic sheeting....?

My hubby just made One and used corrugated roofing from B&Q it was £13 a sheet we did half and half and used 3 sheets you would also need the fixings

What ever you use it needs to be rigid. A tarp will not only p off the resident by keep flapping about, sometimes violently but it will also eventually rip.

How about 9mm 8 x 4 sheets of Stirling board from wickes etc, at about £9 per sheet?
