Dirty ears

I've noticed the kittens have dirty ears, is this ear mites? They're going to the vets on friday to get their first set of vaccs and a check up so will mention it to them then. Is there anything I can do in the meantime though? They don't seem to be scratching them or anything.

Re: Dirty ears

Its very possible, drops are only a few quid and you just do them each night for 7 nights, they dont usually scratch until they are quite bad. You can tell if its ear mites as basically inside the ears it looks like black debris or sometimes looks like black scabs x

Some cats can just be prone to dirty ears which can look exactly the same as ear mites. With kittens it's best to have the vet check first. Either way I find Thornit powder a great product for keeping ears in good condition
