No real reason for this thread

I just want to moon over my babies.

This is Ella, she is is 3.5. She is a tabby but with some slight ginger tortie marking. She is quite aloof but loves attention from me (Less so from my partner). She is very vocal and is what I would call a thoughtful cat.

I bought her from a pet shop (which now given how much I know about rescues I regret but at the time I didn't know all that!) she was probably with us from about six weeks old (again what you learn since).

She is my number one girl and I love her so much!

I can't believe she will have been with us four years January!!

This is Archie. Our little son!He is a dynamo, into everything. Pretty naughty but would happily be strapped to you! He loves a cuddle and it is the only time he is not causing trouble!

A friend had heard of some kittens that had been dumped where she lived, we went to try and save them and found Archie bobbing along like he owned the estate. We brought him back and he was soon part of the family.

He likes fighting with his sisters and with us. Only play fighting but he doesn't know why no one else wants to do it!

This is Cleo. She has been with us two weeks tomorrow. What can I say about my baby girl. We fell in love with her instantly. She hasn't had an easy life. Seven kittens and being a stray before a year old.

She saw her cowering in her cage, very nervous and we felt we had to give her a chance. We wanted a rescue cat as we recently moved out of London and had extra space. She has intergrated so well with Ella and Archie, despite us wanting to introduce them slowly she was despertae to be with them and we knew Ella and Archie would be fine as they have a little posse of friends - our neighbours cats.

She may have had a hard start in life but she will have nothing but love here!

You do! We went to a rescue and got turned down cos we worked all day! So we went to a pet shop! Now I am strongly against pet shops selling cats!!

I agree with you this is a totally pointless thread .So I will just look at the pics of gorgeous furbabes instead They are far to cute to be ignored by anyone and,yes i'm sure most of us would have done things very differently if we had known what we have learned on the forum,but then I for one would never have met Meeko and that ,for me would have been sad

That is the thing isn't it! I would not have Ella! However once I learnt more about cats, and rescue we were always going to get a rescue cat when we moved!

For many folks on the forum ,their "mistakes" are what brought them here,certainly was in my case.I've learned so much and "hope" that my experiences with Meeko can be of use to others.
