Update on my kitten hunt situation

So, finally got a reply from the woman with the two 4 month old kittens she is having to rehome due to her son's asthma - well I commented on the advert she posted and she replied saying they are still there but she was really busy yesterday and that's why she didn't reply (my second message to her simply asked if the kittens were still available, a simple yes or no would have been sufficient). Then another woman comments saying she said her friend would take them and the woman selling said I was getting them..to which the other woman replied asking why she said she could have them if they were already gone.

She has just messaged me saying she's had lots of people interested but I was first to get back to her so I can have them if I still want them...she told me on monday night I could have them and agreed for me to let her know for definite yesterday. She's obviously been telling other people they can have them too

They are free to a good home so people are obviously just jumping in wanting them because they're free! Annoys me that she had agreed I could have them and then has clearly offered them to other people though!

Posted this in the other thread but dunno how many of you have been keeping track of it

Re: Update on my kitten hunt situation

Yes but if you said you would get back to her with a definate decision 2 days later then i don't blame her for having others lined up, especially on Facebook, lots of timewasters.

I didn't. I was speaking to her late on monday night and said I would tell her for definite the next morning, to which she agreed and said I could have them. But looks like she was telling people they could have them as well, instead of saying she was waiting on someone getting back and would let them know.

Maybe it's just because I wouldn't do that because I'd probably get myself into a sticky situation

They're gorgeous hopefully going to see them tomorrow night or friday (meant to be going out for a meal for a friend's birthday tomorrow night but not heard of any actual plans yet). Hopefully bring them home with me whenever I do go!!

Do cats that young know their names? Cos I was thinking of changing them
