Furbies have lost their eyebrow whiskars

My husband noticed this the other day and thought they had moulted them, but I think they probably pulled them out whilst playing. Oscar doesn't have any now, and Wilbur has three left above his left eye - looks really odd.

Any idea how long they will take to grow back? Now that he pointed it out to me, I think they look kind of bald without them

Re: Furbies have lost their eyebrow whiskars

I read somewhere it takes around 6 months, and considering the time it's taking for Benji to grow his whiskers back I would be inclined to agree. His littermates chewed his off when he was with them, and they were a bit delicate at first when growing out so we had the occasional mishap where one would break off. They are now getting longer though and it really adds to his "naughtyface"

Yup - Cute, shiny and odd - so I suppose they fit right in to our household.

[Even our fish swam upsidedown for 5 years - swimbladder issue that was temporarily solved with frozen peas!]

Hey, we are 'Odd & Proud'! Ordinary is overrated

They do say cats sense things humans can't so perhaps they knew they would fit right in when they came straight to me on that day in April at the CP shelter....I must give off oddness vibes...

your house sounds just like mine! We had a fish that swam upside down exactly the same, temp solved with frozen peas, everyone that came round used to say "er your fish is dead" - "no it always looks like that"

A cat that thinks its a dog, a rabbit that thinks its a cat thats exactly why its "myanimalmadhouse" you dont have to be mad to live here but it certainly helps!
