The vet has said she may calm down once she is spayed next month, or she may grow out of it. But she has also told me she holds very little hope for Luna ever being really sociable. She does make me giggle though and I didnt get her to be something I could cuddle whenever I want, I got her so I could give her a loving home and appreciate her personality. Admittedly though Bach rescue remedy has helped when she gets too agressive, as have lots of toys that she can play with when she is alone or with us.
What do you use the rescue remedy for?

Re: Scatty Kitten...

Hi,

Just a quick update: My boyfriend normally does shift work so Amber is never normally on her own for more than a few hours at a time. This week however he is doing a 'normal' shift so we are both out of the house all day for the same hours. I think this might be why she is a bit more energetic than usual.

So, i am working from home today and she is currently on my lap, purring like a car engine

xx

Re: Scatty Kitten...

Don't fret, pet! She will grow out of it.....Hang a peice of string with a toy that she can just about reach to bat and attack like hell, balls she can knock around and just about anything else that she can move herself to keep her entertained. Kittens are still learning how to be cats and chasing, clawing and biting are all part and parcel of it, and she doesn't know that she's being a pain. She will calm down. In a couple of months time you will be laughing at the stress she's putting you through now. Good luck mate.

Re: Scatty Kitten...

ermmmm sorry to say this but.... takes ages for them to grow out of it! Alfie was one last month and still has the manic moments! He is on the whole quite well behaved but he is known to get that glint in his eye do his chirrip and bounce catty crab you and then starts flying around with big crazy eyes... it is funny though
