I did say I know its not his fault - and I don't call it him to his face

Re: Sorry, but i need to vent

Your nickname for the dog made me laugh before I got any further! Perhaps it's a more appropriate name for the owners rather than the ppor dog itself.

Anyway, good luck!

Re: Sorry, but i need to vent

I'd speak to them as Raggs said but if they become belligerent and uncooperative, then do as MoggyBaby suggested; call the dog warden. If I were you, I'd keep a little diary too.

Oh, and I'd report them to the council for dumping their garden waste too.

Re: Sorry, but i need to vent

I'm such a coward aren't I?!?! lol. My partner says he will speak to them about it as he's not as scared as me!!!

I just sit at home and swear about him out of earshot, which I know isn't his fault but I really can't watch him doing all his misbehaving in my garden whilst smiling at him thinking what 'a lovely misguided dog'. I think Argh! That little *** * is here again!

Keeping a diary is a good idea ) Thanks all

Re: Sorry, but i need to vent

I know... lets get all the PF members to come park on said grass out front and see what she says cos I know a few of us would be unable to keep our mouths shut... and that wouldn't be your fault

Aside from that contact the council, they will either speak to them or send you a log to keep track of all the anti social events that take place of a certain period and they will then investigate and approach her with this.... we did this with our neightbours that kept making a racket at all hours of the day or night and smoking in communial areas... my mum also did this with their neighbours that kept playing loud music until the early hours at regular intervals and one morning they had left a really loud radio alarm clock going off so she called environmental health who came round and posted them a nasty letter ... there's ways of getting round the confrontations...

Re: Sorry, but i need to vent

Get rid of the bush and build a nice big brick wall

Also i'd start ringing the dog warden every time he comes onto your garden saying its a stray, he'll come pick it up and they'll have to go get him every time and dont they also get a fine too?

Sorry but if there is one place where you should feel safe its in your own home and your pets should also feel safe in there own home too.

Its not the dogs fault but the owners and maybe if they have to go out of their way every time the dog gets loose then they might do something about it x
