I like the microchipped ones but it would be fiddly to set up and for the kitty to get used to it as some beep ( I know you can turn it off but there is still a click) and f that's the best option. I don't want other cats to come in and steal my kitty's food. So, I was wondering if there is a cat-flap that you use that you could recommend xx Any would be appreciated xx

We have a Sureflap, which is a microchip one. We found it no problem to set up and the cats are not bothered by the clicking noise. Prior to that we had a magnet one but it still had the clicking noise if that's your concern. It worked fine but was costing us a fortune to replace the magnets when the cats lost their collars and in addition our own cats managed to force their way in on more than one occasion when they didn't have their collars so I wasn't convinced it was that secure!
