Blue Peter Corner...

I thought it might be nice to share the things we have made for our kitties

'Crinkley Fish' has been stuffed with shredded carrier bag so she likes the noise he makes, and 'Sleepy Bird' has been stuffed with Catnip - so she loves him and carries him around the house by his wings.
She loves 'Kitteh', because he's super fast on tiles so is good to bat around and he gets carried all around the house. They are made from old shirts and jeans off cuts.
I built the castle as we got a new bed, so she had nothing to hide under, plus it makes less of a thud when she jumps off the window sill in the early hours which always used to wake us up!!
I made the sofa for when the intention was for her to sleep in the kitchen when she was noisy in the night, but she sleeps through now until 7am so is allowed on her fave bed - the double in the spare room!

Re: Blue Peter Corner...

Its cheaper than buying toys at £2 and £3 a time - but she has never slept in that sofa.....

Re: Blue Peter Corner...

Wow, I admire your efforts! The most I have done is put a cardboard box out in the spare room, and the cardboard centre of toilet rolls inside it to push about...

Re: Blue Peter Corner...

My craft-making skills for my cat only goes as far as stuffing an old sock (that has lost its partner in the wash) with catnip and tying a knot at the end...
