Cat found edinburgh southside

Hi Folks, I was At the Recycle Center At Dalkeith road Edinburgh on Saturday and noticed a kitty wandering about on the Road entrance to The Tip, This is quite a busy road with trucks etc and then The main Road which is a few hundred yards away with heavy Traffic. Houses are a good distance from here on the other side of the busy Road, So I think This kitty has lost its way. On my way out I stopped and got hold of the kitty. I will take him/her to the vets on Monday to see if its chipped and hopefully be returned to its owner. The cat is very friendly and is at my Brothers house nearby its been fed and used litter tray, Its a very Happy Friendly cat. Its a long shot But if anybody Recognises This cat Get in Touch. 07917801938 Thanks. Any advice Please.

Sorry to hear that you have put up all the posters and contacted vets ect but still no luck in tracing his owner if only he had been micro chipped .Thank you for taking the time to try.At least he is safe now.

I've missed a bit somewhere.....

Would I be right in assuming that the cat wasn't chipped? Where is it now?

It was a lovely looking wee thing.

I've been speaking via PM with Amin .The cat was found wandering on a busy road,He picked it up and took it to be scanned ,no chip.,visited the local area ,put up posters/leaflets ads ect .Still no luck in finding owner, but is in a home where ,I think he will stay if not claimed.Just thought I would bump the original post incase there was anyone that may know something.

Re: Cat found edinburgh southside

Thanks. As buffie said, I also put an ad on our local gumtree cat found, I got a reply by a lady saying she recognised the cat and fed it chicken in he garden, it wandered off from there, she sent a pic of him (same cat 100%).

So in the meantime its being well looked after, and soon we have a nice permanent home and kitty will be an indoors cat.

I done my best, and hope in a few weeks I don't get a call from someone who wants kitty back - after its settled into his new home. That will be a dilemma.
Etienne and MoggyBaby like this.
