Re: Poor Indy :(

Awww poor Indy! Big hugs for you too. I'm glad she's had her collar off now and that her eye seems okay. I'm sure it will be. Probably just feels like when you get something in your eye and you think it's still there, but it isn't!

Awww so glad your gorgeous girl is doing better and tragedy was averted. It's so upsetting when they're not well.

No Hun I was just keeping an eye on Max the vet said he had to have cage rest but he was climbing all over the cage and getting stressed which in turn was stressing me out in case he hurt himself again so I gave up and let him out of the cage but I was watching him all night to make sure he was safe I think the Metacam is knocking him out as he is sleeping more than usual so I wake him up to eat I don't know we are definatly slaves to our fur babies lol I am pleased that Indy is much better and can have her collar off they hate them so much when Purdy had to have her tail docked as she damaged the tip we had to buy her a comfy collar which is a blow up collar and does not cover their face my vet got one for me because Purdy just froze to the spot she was so afraid of the normal collar.

To be honest i think the vet need not have given me the drops as there was no infection but understand to be on the safe side they gave me them.

So i think i will keep them handy but am i safe to say if there is no irritation and her eye seems to be fine i should not use them ??
Delighted to read that Indy seems to be back to her usual self and that everything is good today.

Did the vet say the eye drops were antibiotics? I had some for Oscar before and the vet made a point of advising that they were anti-inflamitory. The latter would have made sense for Indy to have.....

I hope you have managed to calm down & relax hun and have stopped beating yourself up over what was an accident!

Re: Poor Indy :(

Very glad to hear Indy is much better and no permanent damage done. You know it might also have been a coincidence in that it may just have been a piece of dust etc. that entered the eye!

Applying anything to eyes can be tricky so I don't envy you!
