tribute to munshi

My cat died last night he was hit by a car. we found him on the side of the road, someone must of moved him there. I cant believe he's gone he was such a happy cat. I have written a letter for him:

Munshi cat my beatiful cat. when you first came I couldnt even pick you up. You were so playful, chasing us up and down the room. You used to try to jump up on the sofa, finally you managed to scramble up. Every night you sat on my lap or if i was lying down you sat on my belly or chest. Your lovely nose kisses. Sitting under the ironing board or on the edge of the bed. I will miss you munshi. I hope you had a happy life with us. I loved the way you used to run in front of me then roll around on your back you wanted me to stroke you. Your tail always stuck up high such a friendly boy. We didnt get you 'done' I hope you had some babies somewhere. Your tap dance. Your slow blink. Your lovely purr. You used to sit outside the porch meowing non stop we used to run down to let you in. you were ill for a week - not eating, vomitting, diarohea but we took you doctors and you got better. Remember when you hurt your paw, you hated wearing your hat. The vet said you were gonna be a 'bruiser' he didnt know you not going to get to your first birthday. Munshi I hope you enjoyed it with us I think you did love us. We loved you so much my Munshi. You bought us a lot of joy. I wish I could give you a last nose kiss and stroke your head once more. Maybe if i make it to where you are I will be able to do that.
We love you munshi goodbye my cat.

Re: tribute to munshi

I am so sorry for your loss. It is very sad loosing someone you love dearly.
Crying is only natural and it's all part of the Bereavement.
I hope his happy memories will help you through.
Perhaps pop a picture of him on here when you feel up to it.
R.I.P Munshi and run free at Rainbow Bridge xx

Re: tribute to munshi

thankyou for your messages of support. they are so lovely. Munshis friend felix came looking for him yesterday it was so sad to know they wont run about together anymore. I put some flowers on his grave and some stones to mark it out. am feeling a little better today.
